Welcome to St. Mary’s Primary School

Welcome to the website for St. Mary’s Primary School. The school is situated in Dublin’s north inner city on Upper Dorset Street in Dublin 7.

We are a happy, aspirational and inclusive school, reflecting the rich diversity of families in our local area. We want to provide the children in our care with creative and challenging learning opportunities so that they develop a strong sense of belonging and commitment to our school and their learning.

As a small school and community, we are lucky that our staff get to know all of the children so that children across the school are always dealing with an adult who knows them well. Our teachers and support staff work closely together to ensure our classrooms are organised and well-looked after so that children can access the resources and support they need to become successful learners.

We have a strong commitment to creativity and aim to make the children’s learning vivid, real, engaging and exciting. We want each child to work and think independently and to develop their own gifts and talents and be proud of their achievements.

I am proud to work in this vibrant and diverse school. Our website will tell you more about us and I hope you will come to visit us. We look forward to meeting you.
