At St. Mary’s Primary School, all children have the opportunity to learn both inside and outside the classroom. There are many experiences available to our children and taking children on visits broadens their knowledge and understanding of the world around them, often developing their investigative skills, confidence and personal and social development.

We take advantage of our city centre location to access a wide range of opportunities, including visits to galleries, museums, theatres and more.

6th Class visit the National Concert Hall for a ‘Music in the Classroom’ concert with the RTE National Symphony Orchestra.

5th Class visit Surfdock for some kayaking and paddle boarding.
